-Don Andrews

Commendations

"The youngest one here is Amy McKay and I wish I had half her youth. She will be in the national shows and magazines in no time...Amy McKay."
-Cheng-Khee Chee

"I absolutely love Amy and her family, and her work totally reflects the wonderful person that she is. I have several of Amy's works in my house, and hope to add more in the future!"

"I love all the work you have done over the last few years. You continue to be one of my very favorite artists."

Juror's comments: "The Best in Show goes to a painting that held many layers for me, mentally and artistically. It has a dreamlike quality, not quite real but the implication of new beginnings and infinite possibilities. I was invited to travel into and out of spaces, stopping along the way to examine and enjoy a somewhat magical endeavor. I loved the "surprises" that "Awakenings" had to offer and congratulate Amy McKay in an extremely successful, ambitious endeavor."
