"The youngest one here is Amy McKay and I wish I had half her youth. She will be in the national shows and magazines in no time...Amy McKay."
-Cheng-Khee Chee
"I absolutely love Amy and her family, and her work totally reflects the wonderful person that she is. I have several of Amy's works in my house, and hope to add more in the future!"
"I love all the work you have done over the last few years. You continue to be one of my very favorite artists."
Juror's comments: "The Best in Show goes to a painting that held many layers for me, mentally
and artistically. It has a dreamlike quality, not quite real but the
implication of new beginnings and infinite possibilities. I was invited to
travel into and out of spaces, stopping along the way to examine and enjoy a
somewhat magical endeavor. I loved the "surprises" that "Awakenings" had to
offer and congratulate Amy McKay in an extremely successful, ambitious
endeavor."
-The Life of a Painting

As a rule, commissions are priced between $250(USD) and $1500 (USD), unframed, depending on the size.
Flex payment may be arranged with the artist.
Paintings are matted per customer request only, for an additional matting charge.
Shipping, handling, tax, and optional insurance are billed separately.
The appearance of the final painting is at the discretion of the artist.
In any case, however, original art commissions are always on an 'approval' basis, with a fixed time period wherein the painting may be returned for a full refund (excluding shipping, handling, and insurance charges).
All commissions will be completed within a three (3) month time period from the date of contract unless other arrangements are made.
A downpayment of 50% is required before a painting begins.
All reproduction rights will be retained by the artist unless agreements are made otherwise.
If photographs are to be used in commissions, no images may be digital unless otherwise accepted by the artist.
The subject may need to be photographed by the artist at her discretion for an additional charge.
